Payment deadline for unsecured property taxes is Sept. 30

Rita A. Woodard, Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector, would like to remind taxpayers that Unsecured Tax bills are now due.  Please note that the delinquent date has been extended to September 30, 2010. If your payment is not received or postmarked by the delinquent date, a 10% penalty will be added to your bill. 

The 2010/2011 Unsecured Tax bills were mailed during the month of August 2010. If you have not received your Unsecured Tax bill, please come into our office, or you may view and print a copy from our website at www.tularecountytax.com

For fast posting of your unsecured tax payments, please make your checks payable to: Rita Woodard, Tax Collector, and mail in the envelope provided with your bill or you may mail your payment with the payment stub to:

Payment options: The Tax Collector’s office has a curbside drop box for tax payments made by check. It is located in the North East parking lot (next to Mooney Blvd) at the Visalia Court House. No more worrying about parking, just drive up and drop your payment in the box!  Please include your Assessor parcel number on your check and also enclose your payment stub in your envelope. 

Payment can be made by mail in the envelope provided with your bill, or in the office by cash or check.  Additionally, tax payers can pay online at our web site (www.tularecountytax.com) or by phone (1-888-320-7064) by either credit card or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Please note that a convenience fee will be charged by our vendor for credit card or EFT transactions. Have your credit card number or checking account number and your Assessor parcel number available when you call.
