Free Coupon Booklets Available for Local Farmers' Markets

The California Department of Food and Agriculture Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program has issued a limited number of coupon booklets for Tulare and Kings County, good for purchases made through November 30, 2011, at any Certified Farmers’ Market.

Coupons can be used only to purchase items such as fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, or honey and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.

Each booklet contains ten $2 coupons, and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the following Farmers’ Markets:

- June 6th at the Dinuba Farmers’ Market beginning at 4 p.m.

- June 7th at the Farmersville Farmers’ Market beginning at 3 p.m.

- June 14th at the Earlimart Farmers’ Market beginning at 3 p.m.

- June 15th at the Woodlake Farmers’ Market beginning at 3 p.m.

- June 16th at the Downtown Visalia Farmers’ Market beginning at 5 p.m.

- June 18th at the Sequoia Mall Farmers’ Market beginning at 8 a.m.

Coupons are non-transferable, and cannot be used at grocery stores. Please note, no change will be given by the Certified Farmers’ Market when using these coupons. All coupons must be used by Nov. 30, 2011. Lost or stolen coupons will not be replaced.
