Sheriff Introduces Deputy BuzzBee to Board of Supervisors

Sheriff Mike Boudreaux introduced Deputy BuzzBee to the Tulare County Board of Supervisors Tuesday, October 4th with help from Goshen Elementary School third graders.

The Sheriff thanked the students later in his office for being so well behaved and attentive at the Board meeting. One boy asked if he could become a police officer.

"You are all good learners," he said. "You can be anything you want to be. If you want to become a police officer then you can do it."

Deputy BuzzBee brings an anti-bullying campaign to youngsters throughout the county. So far, during the first year, he's reached more than 40,000 children at more than 45 schools.

His motto is "Bee Nice, Bee Honest and Bee Safe."

You'll see him at community events and in parades around the county including the Tulare County Fair parade recently and upcoming holiday parades.
