Child Safety Fair Slated for May 22

Phil Cline, Tulare County District Attorney, and Bill Wittman, Tulare County Sheriff, invite you to the free Child Safety Fair. This event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 22 at the Visalia Adventure Park, 5600 W. Cypress Ave. in Visalia.

This event is in conjunction with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which sponsors the Take 25 campaign.  Take 25 encourages parents, guardians and family members to take 25 minutes to talk to their children about safety.

The Child Safety Fair will offer free fingerprinting and photographing of your child and tips for keeping your children safe at home, at school, at play and on the internet.  There will be a child car seat safety check by CHP; a demonstration by the TCSO K9 Unit, and search and rescue vehicles on display.  KJUG will be doing a live remote in the morning and Adventure Park will be giving away free prizes and offering special prices for those attending the Fair.  Come see Tipper and McGruff and have some fun while learning important tips to keep your children safe!
