The Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency’s Department of Human Services announced today that they are offering a variety of ways that County residents can seek out assistance or application for Human Service programs after storm-related damage is experienced throughout the County.
In response to the immediate need of residents impacted by the storm, TulareWORKs, who helps provide resources and services to Tulare County residents such as cash assistance, Food Stamps, and employment services, has extended their office hours to 6:30 p.m. through December 31st. The TulareWORKs offices will be closed in observance of the Christmas holidays, but will operate from 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. until the end of the year.
“We understand that many individuals may be facing unexpected hardship stemming from the recent storm-related damages so our staff is prepared to assist those who may be in need of cash aid or food stamps,” said Jason T. Britt, Director of Tulare County Human Services.
