Stevie (Stephanie) McNeill has been appointed to the position of Assistant Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer by Tulare County's Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer, Marilyn Kinoshita. A former Kings County employee, McNeill will assume her new position with Tulare County immediately.
“Stevie has proven herself to be extremely capable,” Kinoshita said. “Tulare County will benefit from her attention to detail as we face challenges ranging from tough fiscal times to exotic pest infestations. We congratulate Stevie and are confident that she will serve our industry and the public with dedication and the highest level of professional competency.”
McNeill graduated from College of Sequoias, attended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Agricultural Plant Science. After graduation, McNeill worked in private industry for a major food processor for eight years. She has spent more than 16 years serving in County Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer departments in Madera, Tehama and Kings counties. Most recently, McNeill was a deputy in charge of pesticide use enforcement, pest detection and pest exclusion activities in Kings County.
McNeill is well-versed with Tulare County’s farming community. McNeill lived for many years in Exeter, and her parents’ families were long-time residents of Lindsay. She currently resides in Hanford.
