The Visalia Branch of the Tulare County Library will be offering free homework assistance sessions for students beginning Tuesday, March 15th. The study center will offer academic assistance to students from 1st grade through 12th grade that attend school in Visalia Unified School District.
"This is a wonderful opportunity for local students to receive free academic assistance in any subject," said Jeff Scott, Tulare County Deputy Librarian. "We hope to have many students take advantage of the available homework assistance sessions," Scott said.
The homework assistance sessions are made possible through funding from the Visalia Unified School District. The services will be provided by a Visalia Unified School District teacher and high school student tutors. The assistance is offered in all subject areas.
The free drop in homework assistance sessions are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The assistance is available starting March 15 and ends April 7.
