Flu season is approaching, and the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency Department of Public Health wants to remind all citizens that the best way to protect against influenza is to get a flu vaccine every flu season.
Tulare County and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommend that everyone six months of age and older get vaccinated against influenza. In response to this recommendation, the Tulare County Department of Public Health will be offering immunization clinics for residents of Tulare County that are uninsured or underinsured. Getting vaccinated as soon as possible provides protection in case the flu season comes early and it will protect you throughout the entire flu season.
