Brenda Broker Promoted to Supervising District Attorney

Tulare County District Attorney Tim Ward announced on Tuesday the promotion of Brenda Broker to Supervising District Attorney.

Broker, who worked in the District Attorney’s Office for more than 10 years, has handled a wide variety of cases, including assignments as a sexual assault prosecutor and homicide prosecutor.

“I am proud to have Brenda Broker join the management team of the Office of the District Attorney,” said District Attorney Tim Ward. “Brenda brings a wealth of experience to her new position, and her promotion continues my commitment to having a well-qualified, diverse management staff.”

Broker joined the District Attorney’s Office in January 2004 as a Deputy District Attorney. Most recently, Broker was assigned as the first ever Child/Infant Homicide Prosecutor.

In January of this year, Ms. Broker received the honor of being named the Prosecutor of the Year at the 31st Knights of Columbus Public Safety Award ceremony.
