PUBLIC NOTICE: Tulare County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder's Office Issues Warning on Public Records Solicitations

The Tulare County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder’s Office has received reports of residents getting notices in the mail from various companies offering to obtain copies of County public records including Property Deeds or other Records of Title. County officials warn, these services are not endorsed by the Tulare County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder’s Office.

You can obtain copies of your Property Deed or other Record of Title directly from the Tulare County Assessor/Clerk-Recorder for a small fee, most often less than solicitations by for profit companies. The Assessor/Clerk-Recorder’s Office charges only $3.00 for the first page of document and $1.00 for each additional page of same document.
