The 1st Installment for the 2017-2018 Secured Property Taxes is delinquent after Monday, December 11, 2017

Tulare County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector Cass Cook would like to remind tax payers that the first installment of secured property taxes must be paid by December 11, 2017, to avoid additional penalties and cost.  He would also like to remind tax payers of the convenient payment options available.

Payment options:

  1. Pay online at our website www.tularecountytax.com by either credit card or E-check 24 hours a day.
  2. Pay by phone (1-800-265-9581) using either credit card or E-check 24 hours a day.
  3. Pay by mailing your check in one of the envelopes provided with your bill. Payments must be postmarked by December 11, 2017, or a 10% penalty applies.
  4. Pay in person, by cash or check, at the Tax Collector’s Office located at 221 S. Mooney Blvd., Rm. 104-E, Visalia, CA. 93291. Business hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.

Please note that a convenience fee will be charged by our vendor for credit card payments. Our new payment system is easier to use, it will allow you to manage your account online, and E-check transactions are now free! This online payment portal provides many advanced features, including the ability to make flexible payment schedules, view bills online, save paper, save trees, and reduce clutter by signing up to “Go Paperless” with e-billing.

Have your credit card number or checking account number and your Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) available when you call or go online.

Drop box reminder:  The Tax Collector’s office has a curbside drop box for tax payments made by check.  It is located in the northeast parking lot (next to Mooney Blvd.) at the Visalia Courthouse.  Look for the red, white and blue pennants.  No more worrying about parking, just drive up and drop your payment in the box!  Please include your Assessor’s Parcel Number on your check and also enclose your payment stub in the envelope.

If you do not receive your secured property tax bill or are unable to find it, you may view and print a copy from our website at www.tularecountytax.com, or you may come to our office at 221 South Mooney Blvd., Room 104-E, Visalia for a duplicate tax bill.   For questions about your tax bill, please call (559) 636-5250.
