Tulare County Tax Collector to Close Public Service Counters

The Tulare County Tax Collector’s Office reminds property owners that the second installment of their 2019/2020 property taxes is still due by April 10, 2020.

In an effort to better protect the health and safety of the public and county employees during the novel coronavirus crisis, public service counters at the Tulare County Tax Collector’s Office will be closed effective Thursday March 19, 2020 and tentatively reopening Monday April 13, 2020. The Tax Collector strongly encourages taxpayers to pay their bill as soon as possible either by check or money order through the mail, or by credit card or e-check through our phone system or online at tularecountytax.com.

Available Payment Options:

  • Pay online: Current property taxes can be paid by visiting our website at www.tularecountytax.com . There is no fee if paying by e-check. If paying by credit/debit card there is a 2.65% processing fee charged by our vendor.

  • Pay by phone: Pay via our automated payment system by calling (559) 636-5250. There is no fee if paying by e-check. If paying by credit/debit card there is a 2.65% processing fee charged by our vendor.
  • Payment Dropbox- Payments can also be dropped off at our drop box located in the east parking lot of the Visalia Courthouse. These payments are picked up by staff daily.
  • Cash Payments- Due to the evolving coronavirus situation, tax payers are strongly discouraged from making cash payments. Please use a personal check or money order and mail it to the address above or simply drop it off at our drop box in the east parking lot of the Visalia Courthouse.
