Tulare County Library Introduces Winter Reading Program

Tulare County Library Introduces Winter Reading Program

The Tulare County Library is expanding our efforts to encourage a culture of learning within our community by establishing our first ever Winter Reading program! Along with the Library’s other reading programs, Winter Reading raises awareness of literacy, and encourages a lifelong love of reading. This year's Winter Reading goals are specifically geared towards encouraging leisure reading by people to exercise and expand their mind through the winter months.

The 4 week Winter Reading Program is for all ages. To receive a free book of their choice, all participants must complete a 5 hour reading challenge that kicks off Tuesday, Dec 17, 2019 and ends Saturday, Jan 11, 2020.

Free Winter Lunches for kids 1-18 begins December 26, 2019 through January 10, 2019 in Visalia (Blue Room), Pixley, and Ivanhoe in partnership with Fresno EOC. Check your local branch for the time.
