The County of Tulare Board of Supervisors and Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency are hosting a virtual town hall meeting Tuesday evening, March 17, 2020, to share information about the new coronavirus. The meeting is scheduled to take place from 7:00– 8:00 p.m. and slated to be live streamed online and Facebook at https://tchhsa.org/ncov and https://www.facebook.com/TulareCountyHHSA/.
The townhall presenters for this one-hour live news special include Pete Vander Poel, Chairman of the Tulare County Board of Supervisors, Karen Elliott, Tulare County HHSA Public Health Director, and Tulare County Public Health Epidemiologist Dr. Sharon Minnick.
Community members are invited to submit questions by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, by sending an email with the subject line of “TOWN HALL” to townhall@tularehhsa.org.
For Spanish speakers and community members who are unable to watch or listen to the broadcast, the broadcast will be posted online with closed-captioning and Spanish subtitles.
