The Richgrove Community Services District officially kicked off construction on the new Richgrove Community Park during a groundbreaking ceremony held on May 29, 2015.
Tulare County Probation Officer Javier Gomez is known to use his discretionary time mentoring at-risk youth throughout Tulare County. This is above and beyond his county work assignments. For that reason, Gomez’s honorable outreach efforts were acknowledged today during the Tulare County Board of Supervisors meeting when he was named the 2014 Tulare County Employee of the Year.

The Tulare County Board of Supervisors will be accepting applications for their 2015 Step Up Youth Activities Grant Program. The grant program provides $100,000 in grants for 501 (c) 3 non-profit organizations that operate within Tulare County.
